Murano

MURANO is a Venetian plaster created with the use of natural mineral fillers and acrylic binders that is suitable for interior work. This luxurious material creates the effect of polished marble. A special formula allows you to achieve saturated tones with economical dye consumption. Tinting is performed by use of universal dyes in an amount of no more than 6% of the mass of the material.

Application
- Apply QUARTZ PRIMER or previously tinted DECOR PRIMER on a prepared and previously treated with D 11 Elfâ„¢ Primer surface (fig. 1).
- MURANO should be applied on a perfectly prepared surface. The material should be stirred thoroughly and the selected dye should be added or a computer tinting system should be used before applying. Apply the first layer of material using a spatula or a stainless steel bevel by spreading the product over the entire surface and creating your unique pattern at the same time (fig. 2). For more expressive texture small flaws are allowed.
- Treat the surface using a sandpaper and apply the second layer of coating by making alternating strokes in different directions after the complete drying of the surface (4-6 hours) (fig. 3). You can proceed to the application of the third layer by making thin strokes in different directions and polishing the surface at the same time in approx. 2-3 hours. It is allowed to add up to 10% of water to the product when applying the 3 rd layer .
- It is recommended to treat the surface after the complete drying using DECOR WAX MURANO, DECOR WAX MURANO AQUA or DECOR WAX for a more Â«in-depthÂ» pattern and higher gloss as well as to enhance the “”stucco”” effect. Decorative wax should be applied using a spatula by making multi-directional movements with a thin layer (fig. 4).
